The Thinking Cap

Today I heard about a little love story. A person who didn't know how to swim, dived into the ocean and managed not only to survive but also to rescue the drowning partner. I asked if they were still together. The answer, i thought sadly, was No.

And while i laughed at the irony of it, i also remember feeling that this hadn't turned out right.

I thought, In that moment of fearlessness, when the challenge was thrown to the death that had been provoked; There was a cause that was bigger than any other...
In that very moment death had been defeated, because death doesnt reign, and it cannot prevail where fear doesn't exist. Love had seen its mightiest victory... And that love could not survive their choices...

To decide whether it turned out right or not is not really in my capacity, because i dont know where their lives went from there. But nevertheless, i found the irony very amusing...

thinking infinity.
