Teenage

Only when i was hurt, did i grow;
Only when i was happy did i know.

Only when my image of things was erased,
did i learn to see;
How quickly changes
Volatile reality...
A mirage...

Only when i was stupid, did i think;
Only when i was smarter, did i know.

Only when i got a little for a lot, did i know;
That a little is enough, One should take it slow.

There were few, but important choices,
Only when i could see beyond my illusions, could i see
There were a thousand voices,
But only time showed taught me what i wanted to be.

There is an age called the teenage,
When we grow inspite of ourselves rather than because.
And that age sometimes has significance
That extends beyond understanding,
Becomes the old man's walking stick.

thinking infinity.
