A little beyond

With my back against the sand,

Eyes wandering in a thoughtful gaze,

Gazing into infinity, where the mind is,

A million thoughts fleeting by the minute....

A strong realization dawns, the light getting brighter,

That far deeper, lies my heart's true desire,

And far greater is my journey,

than to the horizon and back...

Away from the road that I've always seen

There is one that I have always known...

Maybe I'm made for different things,

A road with no milestones,

A road where the seeds are sown,

A road where thoughts have grown....

I fall, only to see deeper,

I rise, to see beyond what seems to be,

But there is the breeze that blows a little stronger

Than it may seem to me.....
